What we do
Segucargo is a Chilean freight forwarder. We organise the international transport of goods for importers and exporters: booking the carrier, preparing the documentation, clearing customs through our own brokerage, and delivering to the final address.
One contract, one invoice, one person who answers. That is the whole proposition, and most of what we have built exists to make it true rather than just say it.
Why we built a portal
The complaint we heard most from clients coming to us from other agencies was never about price. It was about not knowing. You send an email asking where your container is and you wait two hours for someone to look it up and reply.
So we built the portal. Satellite position updated every few minutes, your documents on one screen, your invoices and payments, and alerts at every milestone. It is not a novelty — it is the thing that makes the rest of the service checkable.
Our own customs brokerage
Most forwarders in Chile subcontract customs clearance. We hold our own brokerage certified by Chile's National Customs Service, which removes an intermediary, a margin and — the part that actually costs time — a handover between two companies that do not share a file.
What we cover
- Ocean freight, FCL and LCL, from and to more than 180 ports
- Air freight: express, consolidated and charter
- Road freight across Chile and into the rest of South America
- Customs brokerage for imports and exports
- International moving, door to door
- Warehousing and distribution in Santiago
